Finding Sunshine

We spent four days in St. George and loved being able to walk around with out the snow obstacle! Cricket remembered how to walk on the trails, and I was reminded (by my legs) that I haven't exercised for sometime ...
Some highlights of our little trip: we were able to spend some time with my parents - lunch at one of our favorite little places, 350 Main, and another day: dinner & movie (Marley & Me). Its a sweet movie for all dog lovers but be prepared for tears at the end ... Marley looked just like Pantera! A fun dinner with our friends Rod & Connie and guide, Morton. We cheered on the University of Utah football team to their victory in the Sugar Bowl. We spent the first quarter at a restaurant that had the game playing but without sound so we watched the remaining game at Rod's parents house where we could get the description. Go Utes! This is a picture of Cricket at an exciting part of the game.

This is Morton during the same exciting part of the game!

Other highlights: Meeting Kendall for lunch in Nephi (we were driving back home and he was on his way to start the semester), Steve expanding his handyman skills as he fixed the faucet in the condo and painted the garage, talking with Natalie on the phone and lots of time to relax.

On the drive, we listened to an amazing story Left to Tell, Discovering God Amidst the Rwandan Holocaust, by Immaculee Ilibagiza. Wow!

How nice you were able to spend some time in St. George. Our Portland weather is starting to look like Utah.........snow!! Cricket & Morton looked like they were enjoying your exciting game, by sleeping through it. I would do the same. I find sports on tv quite boring. Keep warm.
