My little red tether is my anchor in running with my friends. A beautiful guide dog has been my tether/anchor in mobility and independence for 17 years: 1. Pantera 2. Cricket, and now my beautiful 3. Georgina (Georgie). A life of family and friends is my joy and anchor in life.

Extraordinary Event

There are some things that are hard to put into words -- having a guide dog and its impact on ones life is one of those ... perhaps that is why the beautiful music of two graduates at the Guide Dog Luncheon on Friday brought tears to many eyes - mine included. Delicious food, beautiful, inspiring words by graduate Linda Grice, and seeing great friends from Guide Dogs for the Blind made for a wonderful day!

Thank you, Debi for a wonderful weekend! Cricket had a wonderful time playing with Dakota and Desma. I left once again so appreciative of the gift of a guide dog and Guide Dogs for the Blind.

I've heard about the Luncheons, and I hope eventually I'll be able to go to one. :) I also heard that my third little girl was at the one this year!! Who knows, Pomona may have teased Cricket. :)

It was great fun to have you & Cricket join me at the luncheon. I treasure all the fun times that we share. They're the best!
