Remembering ...

Cricket wondered why she needed to pose in front of these pumpkins ... this is my explanation to her: When the pumpkins are out in front of Dick's Market this time of year, I remember back to when we began looking for a house in this area 17 years ago. The time for me to quit driving had come. We wanted to find a home that was in a great neighborhood for our family, also walking distance to a grocery store, elementary & junior high, and also on the bus route! We were so thrilled when we found this location and it met all these needs! I remember going to a payphone in front of this Dick's Market to call on some homes that were for sale and stepping over pumpkins! We moved four years ago to a different home, but my office is close by to our old neighborhood so we enjoy walking to Dick's and often running into old friends.

That is a very good "stay" Cricket. You are such an easy going girl and always seem willing to do what your mom asks you to. :) All while looking very cute.
