Olympia & Delphi Today ...

Another incredible day in Greece! We were in Olympia today and walked around where the first Olympics were held and Steve even ran around the ancient track of the first Olympics. He told me that was on his 'bucket list' so I am glad we were able to do that. We are now in a little hotel high on the mountain in Delphi. The city is so cute and our guide, Nina, told us they leave the Christmas lights up yearround (Steve made a note of this as we always have this discussion re: our Christmas lights - I want them taken down and Steve thinks they are just fine to be left up year round -- he told me he is just doing it the Greek way)
The food continues to be interesting and I think tonight for dinner - I will just go straight for desert. I did learn that I have tried the three top must tries ... octopus, moussaka, and fried cheese bread.

One challenge is there is no universal place where one finds the flusher on the toilets! That has been pretty entertaining and the other ladies in our group have been fabulous to let me know where to find this necessary item. It can be on the wall, a string hanging from the ceiling, on the floor, on the back of the toilet! The little things in life that make life easier right!
