Tandem Biking

We enjoyed a beautiful tandem bike ride today. We are excited for the new legacy trail to open up in a couple weeks.

This cute picture is the challenge of tandem biking for us. Cricket recognizes our biking gear and when she sees we are getting ready she goes by the back door and sits there so cute! We have to hug her, step over and tell her we'll be back soon. Fortunately, she doesn't get anxious or into any mischief while we are away and is very forgiving - greets us with much excitement when we return.

How can you leave that face? Oh my........it would be hard to leave her behind. Couldn't you devise some sort of side car to attach to your bikes, so she could ride too?! Ha!

Nothing like a little guilt going out the door. When Chelsie sees my soccer stuff come out, she pouts - goes and lays in the bathroom and looks real pathetic. Most of the time she gets to go to soccer and softball, except on Sundays, they do not allow pets on the field. She does not get to go in extreme heat either. Saturday's softball tourney was MISERABLE (all in caps) and I told her she should thank me for leaving her when I got home.

As usual, Cricket is wearing her great dog smile.

Chelsie sounds so cute! Yes, it would be nice if they could understand that it really is for their own good when they are left behind!

Debi - we have seriously wondered about a side car ... so far haven't come up with a plan but it is hard to leave this cute girl home!
